MLB Super Mixer Recap

Merry Christmas all! As I wait for my daughter to awaken so we can start our Christmas festivities, I thought I would get this recap posted. It's been on my to-do list for a week but it kept getting pushed to the back. I apologize for the delay.

This was the largest break we ever did at The Card Swap and I was shocked at how fast it sold out. I thank everyone for that. This will not be the last Super Mixer. The next one is on the list to be planned for some time in January.

This was a very fun break! Such an assortment of hits and numbered cards. I could have showed a lot more cards but didn't want this to be too long of a post.

It had been awhile since we pulled a Buehler Auto, good to see another one! Our Ginter box was a hot box but didn't deliver anything major out of it. I wish I would have used Gypsy Queen in this one, but it'll def go in the next one. The Archives box showed us a couple of retro autos including a really sweet Kevin Appier. The Cubs did well in this break with the Happ and Contreras Autos. There was a couple Trout numbered cards and it's always fun to pull a Beltre hit. This one was a bat relic. Snapshots gave us 2 autos instead of the promised 1. Our Eckstein was a gold border hand numbered 1/10. Very cool cards!

This was a tough break to grade. Easy to just give an A because of the volume of stuff we pulled. But I am going with a solid B+ for this one because though we pulled some nice autos and none of the boxes were "bad", we didn't pull a a true monster. A lot of quality cards, but it was missing that one card that made everyone say "wow"
